GIGS
Joe has 2 solo gigs in Manchester and Sheffield as part of a Blang unplugged jaunt on Bank Holiday weekend with Tom Mayne from David Cronenberg’s Wife, Scrappy and Jimmy from Milk Kan and Malcolm Kaksois. Then he plays Monkey Fest in County Mayo. The band return to the 12 Bar on Sep 14 where they continue to try out new songs. See Gigs for details. (Note: the planned gig at New Cross Inn is now cancelled).

RECORDS
The next Buzfuz release should be a download-only new cut of Here Come The Popes Part 4 sometime in the Autumn.

OCULUS III
Oculus III is Joe’s remixing alias. He’s remixed DCW’s Sweden from their upcoming 2nd album. He’s now working on a remix of Popes Part 4.

EDGAR ALLAN POGUES
Are a new band formed to celebrate the 160th anniversary of Poe’s death on October 7th. They’re playing Poe poems in the style of The Pogues. Joe is playing accordion and they have gigs at the 12 Bar Club on Oct 7 and the 100 Club the night after. More details soon.
