GUDBYE T' JON
Jon Clayton will leave his role as Buzfuz bass/cello player after the gig at The Archway Tavern next Saturday. Jon joined Charlotte Hatherley’s band as bassist last year and with 2007 set to be a busy year for Charlotte and her band Jon has decided to quit. Jon also plays with Stuffy/The Fuses and in a project with his girlfriend Jen.
The band wish him the best of luck for the future. Jon will probably continue to act as engineer/producer for Buzfuz recordings.

WHITE ROSE AND THISTLES TOUR
The Archway gig was set to be the last band gig for a while anyway as Joe is focussing on solo activity. February sees a short tour of Yorkshire and Scotland for Joe accompanied by Polly MacLean of Kinkajou on duetting duties. The White Rose and Thistles Tour sees Yorkshireman Joe and Scots lass Polly return home to visit Hull, Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Sheffield. See Gigs. In March Joe is to start recording a solo Buzfuz album.

SHAKENSTIR ALBUM OF THE YEAR
The Jewelled Carriageway was chosen as one of Shakenstir.co.uk’s albums of the year for ’06. As with Fire Horse the album was ignored in the mainstream press but appreciated in the underground!

CARGO DISTRIBUTE ALBUM
Cargo are distributing the Blang label so The Jewelled Carriageway is now available in specialist record shops across the UK.
