Joe on new Band Of Holy Joy album
Monday, 25 June 2012

The new Band Of Holy Joy mini-album ‘The North Is Another Land’ is out now. As with all this splendid band’s output it’s a great album. It seems to be a collection of rarities and curiosities and features ‘It Is Written On The Wind’, a track Joe played lead guitar on in 2004. The mini-album/maxi-EP is beautifully packaged and here’s a review from Mudkiss

Gideon Coe/album release put back one week
Thursday, 05 April 2012

Gideon Coe played us again on Tuesday night on BBC 6 Music. That's six times in seven weeks. Thanks Mr Coe.
Due to the kind of technical hitch/bad luck that seems to follow us around the album's shop release has been put back a week to Monday April 16. But you can order it now from the Blang Records shop and as a download from all digital stores.
The first review is in at FolkWords and they're going to interview us next week.

The Arts Desk radio show gave 'Here Come The Popes Part 4' a spin. It left them in hysterics. “I find myself almost lost for words...absolutely glorious” said Peter Muggs.

A track from the new album was played for the fifth week in a row on Gideon Coe's BBC 6Music show on Thursday. Tom Ravenscroft was standing in for him this week. "It's a peculair record. I think I rather like it though" he said. Then he announced the album is called "Go To The Evil And Shake Yourself" which we quite like."Go To The Devil And Shake Yourself is out April 9th.
