It's summer. And we're all buggering off on various holidays. Mine's a slightly working holiday as I'm playing at the Edinburgh Festival and no doubt a few folk nights in Banffshire. We'll be back in September starting with the first 12 Bar Club Blang night in its new first-Tuesday-of-the-month slot on September 7th. This one should see all 6 of us playing, including our new bassist Mr Andy Crowe. Then we play three London gigs in October. I'm currently putting finishing touches to EP due in October and playing accordion on Kinkajou's forthcoming album. Have a good summer. Joe

Here’s a video of us playing ‘Knock Knock Knock’ at our recent BBC 6 session for Tom Robinson. Featuring Steve ‘Stuffy’ Gilchrist guesting on bass. Stuffy’s last gig with us will be the Blang night at the 12 Bar Club this Monday July 12th. And then we’re auditioning new bassists. We’re still busy in studio here and there working on the Popes album and new EP. I’m playing solo at the Edinburgh festival at Lach’s late night Antihoot (12 30 to 2 30) at the Gilded Balloon Teviot on August 7 and 8. Joe
